uine GM Chrome Parts for Chevrolet. They provide a factory-custom-
ized look for GM engines that are not available from any other
supplier.
The chrome parts lineup includes valve covers, air cleaner hous-
ings and wingnuts, oil and breather caps, oil and transmission
pans, dipsticks, spark plug wire looms, covers for differentials,
master cylinders and timing chains and a variety of fasteners and
brackets.
All of these chrome parts are built to GM specifications using GM
blueprints. Tests have revealed that overall plating thicknesses
are as much as two to five times thicker than many typical after-
market products. That means theyll look better and have superior
resistance to corrosion. In addition, proper steel thickness has
been selected for each part which is sometimes 20-percent thicker
than parts sold by other companies. This gives genuine GM Chrome
Parts the maximum rigidity and minimal distortion you need for
top performance.

GROUP 0.386 CHROME VALVE COVERS
These chrome valve covers are all made of heavy-gauge steel. In
most cases, these covers are at least 20% thicker than typical
aftermarket valve covers, greatly reducing the likelihood of
leakage around the valve cover flange area caused by fasteners
being over-torqued. The chrome plating meets GM quality speci-
fications. All valve covers bear the powerful Bow Tie and Chev-
rolet logo unless otherwise specified. Each valve cover comes
either tall or production height (short). Oil-restricting baffles
are offered in many valve covers for those who want to maintain
the PCV hookup.
Technical Note: Production height Chevy small-block valve covers
and valve covers with baffles will not clear most stud girdle
applications. All valve covers are supplied in pairs, equipped
with air breather and PCV grommets, unless otherwise specified.

GROUP 0.413 CHROME VALVE COVER FASTENERS
12341986 Hold-Down Clamps
By spreading the load over a wider area, these clamps minimize
distortion of the valve cover flanges, thereby decreasing the
possibility of oil leakage. Fits Chevrolet small-block V8 and
V6/90 0 engines through 1986. 4 per package.

12341987 Wing Nuts
Chevrolet Bow Ties are cut sharply into the top of each wing
nut. The lower ends of the shafts are manufactured with wide
shoulders for broad load distribution, and each wing nut is sup-
plied with a separate stud which permits precise gasket position-
ing on the head prior to mounting the valve cover. Fits Chevrolet
small-block, big-block, and V6 with 1 /4 " - 20 threads. 4 per
package.

These water necks utilize neoprene O-ring gaskets, instead of
