FLATHEAD CYLINDER HEADS & INTAKE MANIFOLD

For flathead Ford enthusiasts, Edelbrock offers its famous flathead cylinder heads for Ford and Mercury engines. Edelbrock flatheads are extremely rugged -- they're ribbed both internally and externally -- and feature a large water capacity and excellent breathing characteristics. Our heads are made of 356 aluminum alloy, T-6 tempered. 8:1 compression ratio figured on block having 3/16" base relief with stock bore and stroke. Compression ratio increase is approximately 3/10 of a ratio with each 1/8" stroke. Recommended spark plugs for these heads are: Champion H-9 and H-10 commmercial with a 7/16" reach.
