4-Barrel Carburetor Spacers
Use open spacers where more plenum
volume or more carb-to-plenum floor distance is required. This allows high
velocity mixtures more distance to turn into the runners, especially with
small cfm carbs. 4-hole spacers enhance low-rpm torque and throttle response
and dampen reversion effects on the carb. New in '97 are Black Phenolic
Plastic and Wood Fiber Laminate spacers. The superior heat insulating properties
of Wood Fiber Laminate make it ideal for competition or any application
requiring reduced heat transfer to the carb.
