Ford Intake Manifolds for 5.0L EFI V8


Designed for 1986-95 Ford Mustangs with 5.0L V8, the Performer 5.0 EFI aluminum intake manifold represents the standard for hot 5.0L performance. The modular design incorporates the latest air flow technology and CAD programming for maximum power gains-up to 37 horsepower at 5500 rpm-with no loss of low speed torque. Stock replacement and 50-state street legal for 1986-95 5.0L engines, the features of the new Performer 5.0 EFI manifold include: broad power range from idle to 6000 rpm; removable plenum cover that allows access to runners for modification; and base manifold is CNC port matched to upper manifold for maximum performance. New for 1998, the upper and plenum cover are powder-coated light titanium gray. The base is as-cast and not powder-coated. Combining the new Performer 5.0 intake manifold with other Power Package parts gives you even more power across the entire rpm range. 1994-95 Mustangs require Throttle Body Adapter #3835.

Performer 5.0 Camshaft Only

Designed for use with Edelbrock Performer 5.0 EFI manifold (#3821) on 1986-93 5.0L Ford V8s. Must use original hydraulic roller lifters. This cam is 50-state street legal (E.O. #D-215-14).

Performer RPM 5.0 (1500-6500 rpm)

Designed for 1986-95 Ford Mustangs with 5.0L V8, the Performer RPM 5.0 EFI manifold is for nitrous and bracket racing applications. It uses the same base as the Performer 5.0 manifold but the upper plenum has shorter, larger runners for more power in the 5000+ rpm range. The upper and plenum cover are powder-coated light titanium gray, and can be purchased separately for those who already have our #3821 manifold (order #7125 for upper plenum only). The base is as-cast and not powder-coated. Our 70mm throttle body is recommended for most applications. 1994-95 Mustangs require Throttle Body Adapter #3835 and Adapter Kit #8025.

EDELBROCK/BBK HIGH-FLO THROTTLE BODIES AND
EDELBROCK HIGH-FLO EGR PLATES

Street legal for late-model 5.0L Ford Mustangs (E.O. #D-215-18). 65mm size is ideal for stock manifolds. 70mm is the optimum choice for the Performer 5.0/Performer RPM 5.0 EFI intake and Total Power Package (70mm gained 10 hp over stock throttle body). 75mm is intended for more radical engine combinations and requires port matching to fit most manifolds. 1986-93 Throttle Bodies must be used with matching EGR Plates. Gaskets included. The power graph shows the performance results with the Edelbrock 5.0L Power Package.

1994-95 MUSTANG THROTTLE BODY ADAPTERS

These adapters are required to install Edelbrock 5.0L manifolds #3821 and #7125 on 1994-95 Mustangs. They must be used with Edelbrock/BBK or stock throttle body. The powder-coating is the same titanium gray used on the Performer 5.0L and Performer RPM 5.0L manifolds for a matched set. #3821/#3835 are stock replacement and 50-state street legal for 1994-95 5.0L engines. Manifold will not clear stock strut tower brace, Edelbrock/BBK Brace #5225 must be used. #8025 not required when using Edelbrock TES header #6745.

Victor 5.0 (4000-8000 rpm)

Designed for 5.0L-based competition EFI engines, the Victor 5.0 EFI aluminum intake manifold is for non-emission, racing applications. Intended for engines modified to produce 400 to 540+ horsepower, this manifold features an all-new design with shorter, larger runners for power to 8000+ rpm. Runners are 11.5" long and 50% larger than Performer 5.0 #3821 runners. The base features an air-gap design to isolate the manifold from hot oil in the valley, and will accept stock or stock replacement fuel rails. The upper manifold will clear tall valve covers and large fuel pressure regulators. The upper and plenum cover are powder-coated light titanium gray. The base is as-cast and not powder-coated. Designed to work with Edelbrock Victor Jr. #7716 and Victor #7721 cylinder heads. Edelbrock/BBK 75mm throttle body is recommended for most applications. Larger injectors may be needed depending upon horsepower levels. Will not fit under stock hood of 1994-95 Mustangs.

PERFORMER TRUCK 5.0 (IDLE-5500 RPM)

The Performer Truck 5.0 aluminum intake manifold is an all-new design for 1987-96 Ford pick-up trucks with a 5.0L EFI V8. The modular design incorporates the latest air flow technology and computer aided design for maximum torque gains in the mid-range where trucks need it most. Stock replacement and 50-state street legal for 1987-96 5.0L engines, the features of the new Performer Truck 5.0 EFI manifold include: broad power range from idle to 5500 rpm; removable plenum cover that allows access to runners for modification; base manifold is CNC port matched to upper manifold for maximum performance and this manifold accepts all stock hardware. New for 1998, the upper and plenum cover are powder-coated light titanium gray. The base is as-cast and not powder-coated. Combining the new Performer Truck 5.0 manifold with other Edelbrock Power Package parts gives you even more power across the entire rpm range. Use with stock Twin Throttle Body, or for even more power use Edelbrock Twin Throttle Body #3837 or #3838 (#3838 requires port matching to manifold).

Designed for 1987-96 Ford trucks with 5.0L EFI V8. These throttle bodies offer more airflow capacity for more power potential. The 56mm is the optimum choice for the Edelbrock 5.0L EFI intake #3841 and Power Package. Our 61mm throttle body is intended for more radical engine combinations and requires port matching to fit most manifolds. Gaskets included. Street legal in all 50 states- E.O. #D-215-18.
