Boost performance and driveability in your vehicle with the only patented exhaust system available... the Edelbrock Tubular Exhaust System headers. In some cases, you'll shave up to a full second off your 0 to 60 time because the Edelbrock design improves your engine's ability to breathe. Mileage may also improve, as your engine becomes more "fuel efficient." Best of all, our Tubular Exhaust System (TES®) headers give you all this performance with acceptable emissions levels. TES® headers accept all stock emissions equipment, leaving them fully operational. All air injection and oxygen sensor fittings are provided. Most TES® are a complete exhaust system from the heads to the catalytic converter. Durable as well as powerful, most TES® headers are made from 16-gauge steel tubing and have heavy-duty flanges. Check out the outstanding features below. They make Edelbrock Tubular Exhaust System headers the best in quality and performance.
Some application are now available in 409 stainless steel for extra protection against the high-heat conditions encountered in heavy-duty use such as towing and hauling heavy loads. Edelbrock stainless steel TES® headers are painted black and have a five year warranty against corrosion or burn-through. Edelbrock TES® headers will not void new vehicle warranties.
Most Edelbrock Tubular Exhaust System headers have been granted an Executive Order Number from the California Air Resources Board making them street legal on pollution controlled vehicles. An Executive Order Number is pending on some applications, call our Factory Tech Line for more information on these part numbers. Emissions exemption and a street legal status is granted through an extensive testing process that shows that a device does not reduce the effectiveness of a vehicle's pollution control equipment. See TES Application Guide for the part numbers of Tubular Exhaust Systems that fit your vehicles.
*Refer to TES application chart for a complete listing of C.A.R.B. E.O. numbers
Using our sophisticated radar gun test equipment along with on-board diagnostics, Edelbrock Engineers do extensive vehicle acceleration tests with our TES®. Throttle response is improved throughout the rpm range, especially off-idle, for performance that is ideal for street driving. Below are just a few of the results taken from these tests.

IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTES:
When Edelbrock Tubular Exhaust System headers are combined with Edelbrock intake manifolds, camshaft kits, cat-back systems and cylinder heads, tests show tremendous gains in horsepower and torque. These gains translate to better driveability in passenger cars, trucks, and vans. For off-road and towing applications, the additional torque through the mid-range makes it simple to haul heavy loads, climb steep grades and get through tough terrain. Power Package components can be installed one at a time or all at once for performance improvements every step of the way.
Edelbrock engineers do extensive testing with individual components and with the entire Power Package. The chart to the left contains results from acceleration tests. The graphs below show results from testing on one of our engine dynamometers. This is just a sample of what the Edelbrock Total Power Package is capable of. Tubular Exhaust System headers are a major component of the power package concept. See horsepower graph for Total Power Package for Chevy 5.7L and for '87 & earlier Chevy LG4.
These flange plates allow fabrication of large diameter headers on small-block Ford competition engines. Designed for use with Edelbrock Victor Jr. or similar racing cylinder heads. Includes two adapter plates, two header flange plates, two intermediate gaskets and hardware. Plates are laser-cut from 5/16" mild steel.
Designed for aluminum spread-port heads, our headers have one-piece 5/16" header flanges that clear fuel injection nozzles and water temperature heat sensors with no cutting. Flanges are surface ground. Available with 1-7/8" or 2" primaries and 3-1/2" collectors. Designed with a forward sweep to allow easy installation of the silencer between the collector and rear tire.
