Bill's 100 Series Brackets

The 100 series is designed for the Small Block Chevy using Late Style heads (1970 & later).

The bracket mounts using the existing factory drilled holes found on the front face of the heads: 3 holes on the drivers side, and 1 holes on the passenger side, therefore no drilling or tapping is required. They are positioned over the intake manifold & to the inside edge of the valve covers.

Will work with either a short or long water pump. A quick way to determine if you have a short or long water pump is to look behind the water pump and check the gap between the back of the pump and the timing chain cover. You have a long water pump if the pump has a gap of 3/4" or more. If the pump is touching the timing chain cover, you have a short pump.

The alternator used is a G. M. and the air conditioner compressor is a Sanden SD-508

Stock steel or aluminum pulleys can be used with the set up

Brackets are available in Black Powder Paint (standard finish), Chrome Plated (additional cost) or Bare Steel (reduced cost). All brackets come completely assembled with an adjusting arm, all the necessary bolts, illustrated instructions, belt size recommendations and belt adjusting tips for easy installation.

 

	Early Style Heads are 1969 and earlier and have no accessories holes on the face of the heads
	Late Style Heads are 1970 and later and have 3 factory drilled holes on the left head, and 1 on the right head
	Vortec Style Heads have vertical bolts in intake manifold. Only the 100 series and 1100 series available to accept this style of head. Please add a 'V' to the part number

 

Notes: (1) Height measurements are from the top of the block to the highest point on the alternator. (2) Width measurements are with the brackets adjusted as far to the out-side as allowed by the adjusting arms.
