Brakes 65-70 Chevrolet Impala

We now have front brake kits that uses a special aluminum hub and places the wheel in the same stock location.  All kits utilize all Wilwood parts except for the custom caliper brackets.  For disc brakes for the rear go to Rear Brakes Kits.

We now have a "Zero Offset" brake kit for these spindles.  By designing a special hub this brake kit does not move the hubs out and retains stock turning radius.  Add the Forged Superlite upgrade for only $200 to your "Zero Offset" 11.75 or 12.19 brake kit.  Inexpensive addition to get a 9.5" caliper upgrade.

All kits shown below require the disc brake spindle for clearance.  You can modify you drum brake spindles by milling down the anchor bolt boss.  This will convert your drum brake spindles to the same specifications as the disc brake spindles.  Used stock height spindles available while supply last.  New 2" drop spindles also available.

Note 4: Applications with Forge Superlite may require a wheel spacer 0.050 to 0.150" (this would be a very, very rare occasion).  Wilwood hub shield 300-7500 is 0.050" thick.
Note 5: Special 11.75 & 12.19 x .810 inch scallop rotors also available but these are not recommended for street use, because of the .810" thickness.  The 1.10" X 11.75" OR 12.19" rotors available as SPECIAL ORDER.  All 12.90" scallop rotors are 1.10"

Note 7: Special brake kit for Heidts 2" drop spindles moves wheel out approximately .300" per side due to oil seal location and spud design. This about .900" further back than any Heidts Wilwood kit.
Note 8: Moves wheels out approximately .550" per side.
Note 9: 1969 and 70 uses the same bearings (A2 and A6) as the 59-68 spindles on the Heids spindles.
Note 10: If you have the Classic Performance Drop Spindles we have kits for them, call for additional information. Pricing is the same as the Heidts kits. Moves wheel out approximately .300" beyond the Hedits Drop Spindles, because to the lower portion of the CPP spindle is not recessed..

Scalloped rotors also available for 11.75" and 12.19" rotors with 8 on 7" mount in .810" and 1.10" thick.
