1970 to 1992 Camaro Brake Kits

Camaro's from 1970 to 1992 spindles are 1.5" taller and have the steering arms and caliper bracket casted as part of the spindle. They are also a front steer design, which means the steering arms are in front of the spindle. They can not be interchange with the redesign early spindle, because Ackerman* is designed into the steering arms.

We are able to provide you with brake systems for your stock spindles, most after mart drop spindles and our custom 2" drop kits using a tall Gen1 spindle and bolt on front steer arms (saves about 20 pounds per side). Check out the drop spindle on the bottom of this page.

We always recommend the purchase of the Wilwood brake kits over the OEM (factory) type because of the amount of pressure that is required to operate the G calipers. What you save on your initial purchase will be lost with the headaches, time and parts you have to buy in addition to the normal master cylinder used with a 4 piston caliper kit.

Add the Forged Superlite and DynaPro6 upgrades to your "Zero Offset" 11.75 or 12.19 brake kit. Or the W6 to your 12.90 or 14.0" kit.
