We have made it easy for the early Mustang owners
by producing the brake kits shown on this page. This fills
the void where Wilwood does not make a kit. We always
recommend the purchase of one our kits over the OEM (factory)
type because of the amount of pressure that is required to operate
the GM calipers. What you save on your initial purchase will
be lost with the headaches, time and parts you have to buy in addition
to the normal master cylinder used with a 4 piston caliper kit. If you have less than 18 inches of vacuum check out the Gorilla Performance dual master cylinder setup.
We offer these custom kits for stock and 2" drop spindles by Heidts and CPP.
Add the Forged Superlite and DynaPro6 upgrades to your "Zero Offset™" 11.75 or 12.19 brake kit. Or the W6 to your 12.90 or 14.0" kit.

the machining is not to factory specifications. Brackets made
for stock spindles will not work with this spindle. Our "Zero

Note 7: Requires stock 71-73 Mustang Disc Brake Spindles or Granada Spindles (See Note 16). Will
not work on disc brake cars 67-69 because these early cars did not
use different spindles for the disc brake application. (see note 19 below and 67-69 application above) An
upper hole parallel to the frame, like found in a Mustang 2 spindle
is required for the upper bracket mount.
Note 8: Backing plate mount holes must be drilled
& tapped on disc brake spindles.
Note 9: 65-69 Factory Drum Brake Spindles. This kit has special new bracket to fit the factory drum brake spindles
Note 10: Now you can use the larger 11.75" rotors on your reproduction 2 piece wheels with this kit. Special custom 2.50" hats to clear almost any 15" wheel including reproduction 2 piece wheels with cast aluminum centers.
Note 11. Will not work with after market
spindles must be factory disc brake spindles. After market spindles are not machined to factory

Note 19: Requires stock 68-69 Mustang disc brake spindles. Disc brake spindles must have the upper hole just below the upper ball joint that is parallel to the frame. This kit uses the smaller bearing for this spindle.
Note 20: Conversions with power steering using Granada or 70-73 disc brake spindles must use the special Granada offset tie rods on left side and stock 70-73 tie rods on right side.
Note 21: Existing Early Mustang Conversion using the Granada spindles and rotors.
