This rear kits uses the Forged Superlite calipers, PolyMatrix brake pads, and Pro-series two-piece rotors to engage the parking brake assembly hidden neatly inside. Brake cable kit designed for the Wilwood rear brake kit with built in emergency brakes. 96" long so you can cut it to fit your application. Comes with special Wilwood clips to attach to the e-brake lever, cables, junction block and clevis and pin to connect to your existing e-brake system. This kit will only replace the cables up to your transmission area. Can be used with Lokar or OEM type handle lever or connect to your primary e-brake cable from a foot operated lever. This is free with the purchase of any 2 piece rear kit with parking brake assembly.

(5) Replaces stock Corvette emergency brake with Wilwood emergency brake setup.  Mounts 4 piston caliper above the trailing arm and requires relocation of bump stop.
(6) Some Camaro's have staggered shocks. This kit allows the mounting of one side in front and the other in the rear of axle.

(7) 1994 to 2004 Mustang 8.8 with 3.25". This kit may require you to disconnect the ABS if the ABS ring does not clear.

Forged Superlite 4 Piston FSL Calipers
Calipers Available in Black or Red:
Forged Billet Superlite calipers are a direct replacement for all Wilwood Superlite and similar competitive brand calipers with 3.50" centered mounting tabs.FSL calipers use the same 7420 and 7416 type bridge bolt brake pad used in all Superlite 6 piston calipers. The full range of PolyMatrix pad compounds is available to match brake response and heat range to any application.

The FSL body design is a highly efficient product of computer generated solid modeling and stress analysis technology. Each caliper features closed end bridges with a radial transition to the piston body housings. The elimination of machined steps and sharp shoulders in this critical area provides a measurable increase in overall body strength and resistance to deflection under load. Center bridge bolts replace cotter pins to provide additional support and allow quick access with positive brake pad retention. Clamping force, structural deflection, and volume displacement tests have proven the superior strength and efficiency of the FSL. On-track testing has proven driver satisfaction. The bottom line is better stopping power with less pedal travel.

The superior strength of this innovative new caliper is combined with proven performance features from other Wilwood designs. Each caliper is equipped with Wilwood's replaceable SRS stainless steel bridge plates. SRS plates eliminate the bridge wear caused by pad gouging and extend the service life of the caliper body. The spring-loading action of the SRS plates also eliminates pad rattle and dampens the vibration harmonics that contribute to squeal under braking. Other standard Wilwood features include high-temperature, square faced o-ring seals for positive sealing, controlled piston retraction, and long service life in high heat conditions. Stainless steel pistons are used to resist corrosion and retard heat transfer from the pads. Fluid tubes are vibration dampened to resist stress fractures and reduce damage caused by track debris. Two-piece bleed screw assemblies provide long, reliable service life and are easily replace if necessary.

The most notworthy feature of this new caliper design is the forging. Each body is stress-flow forged from premium grade aluminum alloy billets. Stress-flow forging re-aligns the metal's internal grain structure to flow within the contour of the caliper body. This process eliminates the stresses and interruptions to the internal grain structure that occur when machining a straight block billet. Simply stated, there is no better way to build a stronger aluminum caliper body.

HD Steel Rotor Mounting Hats
Premium grade steel rotor mounting hats provide reliable and durable method of attaching a vented iron rotor to an axle flange and is part of the emergency brake system. Each hat is CNC machined for precise fit and features a multi-drill pattern to accommodate 4.50", 4.75" and 5.00" five lug patterns on stock or aftermarket axles. The hats are black anodized to resist corrosion and preserve their high-tech competition style inside the wheel.

SRP or HP Series 12.19" Vented Iron Rotors
Wilwood rotors are manufactured from premium grade, long grain carbon iron to provide long wear with high thermal stability and resistance to distortion. The superior heat absorption and dissipation qualities of a vented iron rotor are essential to preventing heat fade and realizing the longest service life from the rotors and pads. For custom, show, and performance sport driving applications, SRP rotor kits offer the enhanced look and performance of a specially engineered directional cross-drill and face slot pattern. The venting and cleaning action of the holes and slots will reduce pad glaze, dissipate surface heat, and minimize irregular friction compound build-up on the rotor faces. The results are smoother engagement with an overall improvement in consistency and response from the pads. Each SRP rotor is treated with a silver zinc wash to prevent rust on the areas of the rotor not kept clean by pad contact. HP rotor kits include precision machined smooth face rotors. The additional mass of the non-drilled HP rotor will extend rotor life on competition and other vehicles subject to higher sustained and peak operating temperatures.

PolyMatrix Brake Pads
PolyMatrix brake pads give fast response, high resistance to fade, long wear, and the low rotor abrasion that PolyMatrix is so well known for. Pad compounds are specifically selected for each application and are listed in the service parts guide for each kit.

Internal Parking Brake Assemblies
Mechanically actuated twin shoe systems are neatly hidden inside the hat section of the rotor. This method provides the best holding power without clutter or rattle. Parking brake cables are relocated close to the axle tube adding wheel clearance and reducing visual impact. Parking brake assemblies shipped with kits are pre-assembled for easy installation. Some noted kits will retain the original equipment parking brake assembly from the vehicle.

Important Ordering Information
Custom built or narrowed rear axles may use axle bearings and flange offsets that are different from the original make and model of the center section. All kits must be ordered based on the housing end flange and axle offset. Fittings and flex lines to install these brake systems must be ordered separately.
