1967-1969 Camaro/1968-74 Nova Power Rack and Pinion UNI 8010540-01/02 First introduced at the SEMA show of 2004, this 67'-69' Camaro Rack & Pinion Kit is the answer to your 1967-1969 Camaro steering needs. It is the first power rack that has been made to match the stock steering geometry. The Rack & Pinion that comes with this kit, is a highly modified GM rack & pinion: it has been internally shortened, reducing the width of the ball centers. By narrowing these pivot points, the rack & pinion pivots in the same position as the upper and lower control arms of stock Camaro, replicating the dimensions of the stock steering and resulting in precision rack & pinion steering with very little bump steer! |

55-57 Chevrolet Manual Rack & Pinion Conversion Kit UNI 8000230/60 For drag racers using 1955-57 Chevy Cars on the track, this is the way to go. Drop the weight of that old steering box, power or manual, this will save you as much as 30lbs. Unisteer is pleased to have a bolt in Power or Manual Rack & Pinion Kit for 1955-57 Chevy Cars. This kit consists of a uniquely customized Saginaw Power Rack & Pinion, this custom built rack is narrow enough to match the original steering. Geometrically this rack matches the stock steering so there is very little bump steer! The Rack and Pinion is a remanufactured unit of the highest quality that comes with a lifetime warranty. The basic kit consists of the rack & pinion unit, outer tie rod ends, main bracket, mounting hardware, and new steering arms. Comes with plain or chrome rack. |
55-57 Chevrolet Power Rack & Pinion Converstion Kit UNI 8010400-01/02 Power Rack & Pinion Kit for 1955-57 Chevy Cars. This kit consists of a uniquely customized Saginaw Power Rack & Pinion. This custom built rack is narrow enough to match the original steering. Geometrically this rack matches the stock steering so there is very little bump steer! The Rack and Pinion is a remanufactured unit of the highest quality that comes with a lifetime warranty. The basic kit consists of the Rack & Pinion unit, Outer Tie Rod Ends, Brackets, Mounting Hardware, and new Steering Arms. Installation is as easy as possible. The Rack & Pinion is mounted to our bracket using the provided hardware and the unit mounts in the stock holes from the factory steering system. The driver side bracket mounts to the same three bolt pattern as the factory steering box and the passenger side bracket mounts to the two bolt pattern for the idler-arm. These brackets then hold the rack and pinion in the same plane as center link from the stock steering. For clearance issues, if your Chevy has clearance for the factory center link then you should have clearance for Unisteer's Tri-5 rack. The Rack & Pinion rests in the same place as that factory center drag link with a slightly bigger diameter. |

1935-40 Ford Cross Steer Rack & Pinion UNI 8000510 Following the same design as the successful and proven Cross Steer for 28-34 Fords, this Cross Steer system has been modified to work with 35-40 Fords. The bracket is a larger heavier bracket that allows the Rack and Pinion to sit lower. It mounts on the inside of the frame rail and utilizes the factory rivet holes. The Rack & Pinion unit has 6 inches of rack travel with a ratio that gives about 1.6 inchs of travel per rotation of the pinion. This is a bit slower to accommodate the heavier weight of these vehicles, reducing the effort that if would takes to steer the vehicle. The steering link is thread for the 11/16 Early Ford Tie Rod End(Left handed thread). The kit does not come with a Tie Rod End but if you need one, we can supply you with that as well. |
1933-34 Ford Cross Steer Rack UNI 8000680 Specifically designed for 1933-1934 Ford street rods. This is just like our innovative Cross Steer design that steers off one side, creating very little bump steer that would occur using a traditional rack & pinion. There is no play in the rack travel, as it is smooth and consistent through out the length of its travel. This means that Cross Steer eliminates tight spots and loose spots so common with conventional steering boxes.

1928-34 Ford Center Steer Rack & Pinion UNI 8000490-02 The Center Steer Rack & Pinion is another alternative for steering your 28'-34' Street Rod. This is a conventional looking rack and pinion that mounts to the U bolts of the cross member. This is truly a unique rack & pinion, it is a conventional rack that is super narrow, allowing the long tie rod tubes to pivot with the solid axle suspension so there is very little bump steer! |
1928-32 Ford Cross Steer Vega Replacement Kit 2 UNI 8000470-01 This painted black Cross-Steer kit was designed for users that are replacing an existing Vega style steering box. This kit includes a coupler, a section of shaft and all the necessary hardware. This compensates for the distance between our pinion and the Vega spline, so you can use this shaft and hook up your column with out modification, using even the same U-Joint! |
