Rear Wilwood Brake Kit

All our rear parking brake rear kits are made special for Hot Rods USA with special two piece rotors.  Since there are many different offset on axles these instructions will assist you.  In order to economically provide a kit to you, we have made all offsets available by providing the correct spacers for the different offset.  Please check the offset of your axles.  If you find that the calipers do not align properly you can add flat washers to the spacer between the caliper bracket and backing plate, or you can remove material from the spacers to shorten the spacer(s).

2.36” offset axles require           1.10” Spacers                1.33” Spacers                1.75”/2.00”

2.50” offset axles require           0.960” Spacers              1.18” Spacers                1.75” /2.00”

2.75” offset axles require           0.732” Spacers              0.962 Spacers               1.50”/1.75”

All of Wilwood’s bolts are Loctite in place.  Put heat to the bolt head one at a time and remove bolts from backing plate.  Reassemble and tighten to 198 inch pounds or 16.5 foot pounds.

On Camaros with staggered shock remove the bracket and switch it to the front side.  You will need to nutserts and press them in from the opposite side.
